Renato Alves

Alves, from Sao Paulo, earned degrees in civil engineering and mathematics in Brazil where he worked in the construction and banking industries and later as a professor of mathematics at a renowned school in Vila Mariana in Sao Paulo until 2009, when his desire to live in another country and learn about other cultures drew him to the United States.

In 2013, he graduated with honors from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa with a bachelor’s degree in interior architecture. While in college in the United States, he began writing a blog, “A Brazilian Land of Uncle Sam,” which lead to him to do renovation and decorating work for numerous Brazilians. The blog, which has received recognition worldwide, brought Alves to the forefront of the Orlando real estate industry where he began working after graduation, when a colleague’s husband invited Alves to work as a real estate agent.pert in making the American dream of home ownership come true.
